Great for if you are collecting hours for a certification for CPDT. Help with group training activities and you can lead some when you're ready. Best suited for someone who already has a basic understanding of learning and behavior and is ready for the hands-on and work with clients.

You'll get experience in specialty training such as detection work and competitive obedience as well as basics, manners, and reactivity. You will also have the option to bring your own dog to some events and groups. There's a lot of flexibility for what you'll be doing and flexibility for hours as well (primarily evenings/weekends, and mornings during the summer.) It's preferable to have your own method of transportation as locations vary in and around Portland. Training methods are CPDT-style positive reinforcement.
